Sabrina Parrish

Collingwood born Artist and Educator, Sabrina Parrish has always had one foot in the arts, working in many mediums along the way including painting, drawing, sculpting, glassblowing, printmaking, natural dying, embroidery, paper making, etc. Sabrina started art classes as a young girl and joined an all-female artist group called The Mona Lisas in high school, under the direction and support of Lory MacDonald. 

Sabrina has been involved with many local arts organizations over the past 12 years including, Magic of Children in the Arts, Artists in Schools, The MacLearn Art Centre, Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts, and Artfest Ontario.

Sabrina studied four years at Sheridan College enrolled in the Textiles Craft and Design program and continued her education with 4 more years at Lakehead University studying Primary/Junior Education and Psychology, Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts and Science and Bachelor of Education in 2019. She is currently employed as a teacher with both, Simcoe and Bluewater District school boards. 

Sabrina’s newest adventure in the arts is Made BRAVE Studio, an artist studio and retail space based in Stayner ON. Here, she looks forward to supporting artists in developing their creative confidence, to make BRAVE works of art!
